You may also notice minimal filler residue that can be sanded smooth, or slight movement or gentle warping that does not affect the pieces ability to hang flat. These characteristics are common when working with authentic wood and can typically be corrected with simple tools likesandpaper, a sanding block, or any of the remedies listed above.
