Maximum Rear Stiffness For Drivers Who Push Harder
Drivers who autocross, track their Jetta, or simply want the sharpest possible rear-end response need more bar than the 22mm option provides. The SuperPro SPRRC0005RZ-24 steps up to a 24mm hollow rear sway bar with the same adjustable end link design, delivering the largest stiffness increase SuperPro offers for this platform without touching ride height.

FAQ
What is the SPRRC0005RZ-24?
The SPRRC0005RZ-24 is SuperPro’s largest adjustable rear sway bar option for the Mk5 Volkswagen Jetta, using a 24mm hollow bar for maximum rear stiffness.
How does this compare to the 22mm version?
The 24mm bar is stiffer than the 22mm option at equivalent end link settings, making it better suited to autocross and track driving where maximum body control matters most.
Does this sway bar require lowering the car?
No, the SPRRC0005RZ-24 bolts to the factory mounting points and functions at stock ride height, and also works fine with lowering springs or coilovers.
Will the 24mm bar make the ride too harsh for daily driving?
The 24mm bar is noticeably firmer than stock and is best suited to drivers who prioritize handling, though the adjustable end links let you soften it somewhat for daily comfort.
Do I need an alignment after installing this sway bar?
No, a sway bar swap does not change suspension geometry, so an alignment is not required, though it is good practice after any suspension work.
Is this kit covered under warranty?
Yes, SuperPro backs its polyurethane bushings with a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser, including vehicles used for track events.
Can this be installed with basic hand tools?
Yes, most installers can complete this swap in under two hours using basic hand tools and a jack and jack stands.
Does this bar fit other Volkswagen models built on the same platform?
SuperPro produces bars for the broader Mk5 platform including the Rabbit, GTI, and GLI, but this listing is scoped specifically to the 2005-2009 Jetta.
